Requirements / Qualifications
Required Experience must be in a public school setting: • Five years of successful full-time public school certificated service • Three years of experience as a teacher in a K-12 public school program • Two years of experience at an middle or high school • One year in an non-classroom leadership position, such as, instructional coach or coordinator Minimum Requirements include: • A valid California teaching credential requiring a Bachelor's degree and a program of professional preparation, including student teaching • A valid California Administrative Services Credential • Multicultural coursework* • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university • District Master Plan requirements* *Candidates have one year to complete this requirement

Reseda Senior High School is a single track, comprehensive community high school serving approximately 1,660 students in grades 9 through 12, with 15% of the students identified as English Learners. Reseda Senior High has 21 Special Day Program Classes (8 SLD, 4 AUT, 4 ED, 1 MD, 2 IDM, and 2 IDS) and 5 Resource Specialist teachers. Approximately 22% of students are identified as Students with Disabilities. Reseda Senior High is the host to one of the District's alternatives to Non Public School placement, the Phoenix Academy, which is a program that focuses on serving special education students who have mental health needs.
