Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: • At least eight (8) years of successful full-time public school service in a certificated position(s), no fewer than two (2) years of which must have been in a management position(s) • A valid California Administrative Services Credential • An earned master’s degree or advanced degree of at least equivalent standard conferred by an accredited college or university • Completion of required Multicultural Education and Master Plan coursework* *Applicants have one year to complete this requirement.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provides training, support, and supervision of both Instructional Readiness and Technology Specialists and Instructional Technology Facilitators to provide District-wide and school site professional development support based on local district and school-specific needs including coaching and modeling lessons with a responsibility of technology integration.
• Coordinates the support, monitoring, and evaluation of all school readiness activities including the School Instructional Technology Plan.
• Collaborates with vendors, Informational Technology Division, and Division of Instruction to ensure infrastructure readiness and to support the accessibility and functionality of instructional digital content.
• Collaborates with the Informational Technology Division in developing technical solutions, support, and workflow processes to meet both local district and school site needs.
• Ensures that all students and staff receive training on device care, technology basics, policy and procedures, and Internet safety.
• Coordinates the implementation of on-going District-wide professional development, training, and instructional technology integration activities in order to support schools in the integration of 21st century instructional learning tools.
• Coordinates support for schools in collaboration with the local districts in completing the School Instructional Technology Plans.
• Acts as the primary liaison for the team with the Office of the General Counsel, School Operations, IT Security, Asset Management, and Facilities Services Division.
