Requirements / Qualifications

Required Experience: • Five years of successful full-time public school certificated service • A minimum of three years experience as a teacher in a K-12 program • No fewer than two years of successful experience in a middle/senior high school counseling office. Minimum Requirements include: • A valid California Administrative Services Credential • Multicultural coursework* • A valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential • District Master Plan Requirements* • A valid California K-12 Teaching Credential requiring a Bachelor’s degree and a program of professional preparation including student teaching • Master’s degree from an accredited college or University *Candidates have one year to complete this requirement

Woodrow Wilson Senior High will provide learning pathways that include AVID, Magnet Programs (Law and Policy), two Partnership Academies, with the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) of both the Middle Years and the Diploma Programs. The Middle Years Program curriculum framework comprises eight subject groups, providing a broad and balanced education for high schools students and the Diploma Program (DP) curriculum is made up six subject groups and the DP core, comprising Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and the extended essay.
