Requirements / Qualifications
Required Experience must be in a public school setting: • Five years of successful full-time public school certificated service • Three years of experience as a teacher in a K-12 public school program • Two years of experience at an elementary school • One year in an non-classroom leadership position, such as, instructional coach or coordinator Minimum Requirements include: • A valid California teaching credential requiring a Bachelor's degree and a program of professional preparation, including student teaching • A valid California Administrative Services Credential • Multicultural coursework* • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university • District Master Plan requirements* *Candidates have one year to complete this requirement

The diverse student population is 62% White, 11% African American, 6% Asian, 16% Hispanic, and 10% English learners. The campus hosts two RSP programs and three Special Day classrooms. Approximately 10% of students receive special education services. The campus also hosts an SAS program for grades First through Fifth. Approximately 12% of the students are identified Gifted.
