Job Description / Essential Elements:

Must hold or be eligible for appropriate Designated Subject Credential.
Three (3) years of work experience related to the subject; one of the
years of experience must have occurred within the last five (5) years, or two years within the last ten years
Demonstrated ability to work well with students and staff.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Instruct students in skills necessary for entry level employment, upgrading of existing skills, and/or preparation for advanced training in a specific subject matter area; to assist students in obtaining related employment, and/or participating in related advanced training; to use effective public relations procedures; to maintain professional working relationship with appropriate district personnel; to organize and participate in advisory committee meetings; to keep accurate and timely records; and to perform related duties as required.

CA ITE Credential ~ Information & Technology or Industrial & Technology Education or CA Single Subject ~ Business Three (3) years successful verifiable work experience Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff Previous computer teaching experience desirable
