I. Position Title:  7th & 8th Grade Math Teacher

II. Summary of Position:  This position will teach grades seven & eight.?  The teacher’s main role is to facilitate the learning of the Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & Geometry for every student by creating a stimulating learning environment in which every child is expected to reach their own academic potential while being nurtured with Christian values.

III. Required Qualifications

• Single Subject Math Credential

• An intimate and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Strong teaching ability; enjoy workingwith children and adolescents.? 
• Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills.?
• Ability to work well with students, parents and other adults; willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the CCS community.?
• Obvious passion for the academic subject matter being taught.?
• Commitment to equity and inclusion.?
• Willingness to adapt to an existing curriculum as well as contribute ideas to enhance the respective academic programs.?

Preferred qualifications include three years of teaching experience at middle or high school level, a Master’s Degree in Education or Mathematics

IV. Conditions for Employment

1.  Available to fulfill the identified work schedule and hours.
