Requirements for Applying

Job Title: Deaf H/H Specialist Credential required: Education Specialist Instruction Credential -Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing English Language Authorization required. Passing of CBEST, CSET or SSAT

Resume and Letter of Introduction. Copies of all transcripts from BA/BS and beyond. (Upon hire, original transcripts are required) 3 Letters of Recommendation from educators (within 2 years), at least one letter from an administrator or supervisor. As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont USD.

  • Copy of Transcript (From BA/BS and beyond (upon hire, original transcripts are required))
  • Credential Copy (Current California or Out-of-State Credential)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters (within 2 years) from educators, at least one from administrator or supervisor.)
  • Other (Copy of CBEST Results, and Copy of PRAXIS, SSAT, MSAT, or CSET)

      Fremont Unified School District is located in the southeast side of the San Francisco Bay area. Fremont is located within Alameda County. The Special Services department and Administrators will contact highly qualified applicants. Candidates should not contact department directly to request employment. The following employment procedures will be followed: 1. Hiring staff review applications on file of those who possess the appropriate credential for the assignment. 2. Applicants for the specific assignments will be contacted for a scheduled interview. 3. Hiring staff will recommend candidates to Human Resources. 4. Human Resources staff will offer contracts after review of applicant's qualifications. 5. Applicants will report to Human Resources to complete employment papers, sign contract, and receive authorization documents to report to work. Since referral and hiring are done by Human Resources, applicants should not contact the department directly to request employment.
