Operations Technician 1

Bus Mechanic, Maintenance, Bus Driver

The Operations Technician 1 shall work under the supervision of the Director of Operations and will be assigned on a daily basis, at any facility operating withing the district.

Job Duties:

• As assigned, perform daily servicing of all buses and district vehicles.
• As assigned, perform or assist with major mechanical repairs to district vehicles, including buses.
• As assigned, assume responsibility for home-to-school student bus transportation or transportation for field trips.  Requires possesion of a valid Bus Driver Certificate.
• As assigned, perform repairs to buildings, equipment, or grounds.
• As assigned, maintenance and upkeep of grounds, including landscaping.
• As assigned, maintenance and upkeep and /or repair of the district pool.
• As assigned, perform daily external building maintenance and custodial service.
• As assigned, loading and unloading of district vendor or commercial vehicles.
• As assigned, location and/or relocation of district equipment, furniture, etc.
• As assigned, assistance in general construction, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, cabinetry, electrical and welding.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or district designee.
