Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must hold an English Learner Authorization (ELA) or be eligible for an Emergency ELA while working on earning an ELA. Must also possess or qualify for a California Single Subject Credential and/or Multiple Subjects Credential. Preference is given to applicants who have experience working with at-risk and special education students. Applicant should have the ability to collaborate with staff from the Probation Department, law enforcement, special education staff and administration in problem solving, student behavior management, and intervention. Must be skilled at behavioral management. Will be required to teach all subjects in this multi-graded, self-contained classroom following district curriculum and state frameworks and participate in team meetings.
