CENTRAL CITY IS A CALIFORNIA DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL! We are looking for a passionate and inspirational math instructor. The ideal candidate would feel comfortable teaching high school level math classes which includes guiding students towards mastery of the Common Core Math Standards. We would like someone who is able to motivate our students to achieve excellence in the classroom and develop into life-long learners. Furthermore we are looking for an educator that will help prepare our students for the academic rigor that they will encounter when they get to university. From 2015-2024, our similar school ranking has placed us in the top 5% of all high schools in the state. In 2024, our students outperformed more than 90% of schools in the area on the math section of the SBAC. During several semesters our students have shown more growth on the NWEA in reading and math than 99% of the schools in the country. This year, we have an average class size of approximately 23 students. Summary Of Benefits: Medical - Value Schools pays 100% of the premiums for employees, and a portion of the premium for dependents. Employees have the option of choosing between HMO plans offered by Kaiser and Anthem, a PPO plan offered by Anthem or and H.S.A plan offered by Anthem. Dental – Value Schools pays 100% of the premiums for employees electing DHMO insurance through CalDental, and a portion of the premiums for EMPLOYEES who elect coverage through the Dental PPO or the Dental PPO Buy-Up plans offered (administered through Principal). Vision – Value Schools pays 100% of the Anthem Vision premiums for employees, and a portion of the premiums for dependents. Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) – Value Schools provides $25,000 life insurance to all full-time employees as well as AD&D insurance, both at no cost to the employee. Employee Assistance Program (EAP)- Provided through Anthem at no cost to all employees (and their family members). An EAP provides a confidential source that employees can use to find support and resources for certain challenges they face.
