Pest Control Technician at San Diego Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
On-line Application. At time of application: Possession of a CA Dept. of Food and Agriculture Qualified Applicator's Certificate (Category A and B) OR In lieu of the Qualified Applicator's Certificate, applicants must possess a Structural Pest Control License (Branch II or III) and be willing and able to successfully complete a California Dept. of Agriculture training course and obtain a Qualified Applicator's Certificate within one year of initial employment in this job class.
At the time of hire - valid CA driver's license and availability of private vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided). Passing annual physicians physical examination and respirator fit test indicating clearance to wear a respirator while spraying pesticides and performing associated duties. NOTE: Incumbents are required to attend continuous education course hours as mandated by the State.
