Requirements / Qualifications

Credential Requirements: • Teaching Credential (preferably in math/science) o Previous experience instructing and engaging middle school students is a plus. o Previous experience teaching Elevate [Math], Elevate [Math] Plus, or Elevate [Science] is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively. • Familiarity with the CCSS/NGSS and math/science course sequencing. • Spanish or Vietnamese Bi-lingual a plus • Work effectively with students, proof of TB test results and district-specific fingerprinting are required. Both costs will be reimbursed by SVEF.
