Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Pass District Food Services Manager I test and pre-employment physical. Any combination equivalent to sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in this announcement. Experience with quantity food preparation and experience with food services management. Possess current Food Protection/Safety Manager Certification recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference on Food Protection (CFP). Certificate must be kept current by statute. If certificate expires, employee has 60-days to comply with this requirement as a condition of continued employment. Valid California Driver’s License. Desirable Qualifications: Ability to speak Spanish or other languages spoken by participants. High School Diploma or GED. To be considered for a position within the classification of Manager I (Floater), Food Services, you must meet the education and experience requirements and obtain a passing score for all tests indicated above. Candidates will initially be screened for the training and experience requirements and the current Food Protection/Safety Manager Certification and then invited to participate in the testing. If you have not met the minimum qualifications, your application will no longer be valid. Only those best qualified and suited for the positions will be interviewed.
