Magnolia Educational & Research Foundation is a K-12 grade, tuition free, public charter school providing an innovative, high-quality, and standards-based curriculum with an emphasis on Math, Science, and Technology. Magnolia Educational & Research Foundation implements a unique educational program to inspire every student enrolled in the school to feel the joy of learning, and reach their full potentials.
We are looking for qualified teacher candidates for the following subjects:
• Math (Full time and/or part time)
• Science ( Full time and/or part time)
• Language Arts (Full time and/or part time)
• Social Studies ( Full time and/or part time)
• Physical Education (Full time)
• Special Education/Resource (Full time)
• Spanish (Full time and/or part time)
• Arts (Part time)
• Music (Part time)
IDEAL CANDIDATES must have
• Bachelors degree in a related area,
• Valid California Teaching Credential,
• Effective classroom management skills,
• Ability to lead students in project-based learning activities,
• Willingness to communicate with parents periodically about student success and behavior,
• Determined to set a good example to students
• Willingness to direct and participate in extra- curricular or co-curricular activities such as science fairs, competitions, academic and social clubs and field trips.
• Willingness to perform other duties assigned by the administration,
• Dedicated and committed to student success,
• Willingness to participate in creating an effective school culture,

BA or BS (as appropriate) degree in subject matter California Commission on Teacher Credentialing credential, certificate, permit or other documentation equivalent to what a teacher in other public schools would be required to hold Highly qualified in core courses as defined in the section titled “NCLB and Credentialing Requirements” Understanding of subjects assigned Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Capability of instructing students and managing their behavior Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
