THIS POSITION WILL PLAN, IMPLEMENT, AND MONITOR PROGRAM AREAS SUCH AS CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTH SERVICES, COMMUNITY AND FAMILY PARTNERSHIPS, AND PROGRAM DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH STATE AND FEDERAL EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS. KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING IS MANDATORY: TITLE 22, TITLE V, HEAD START PERFORMANCE STANDARDS, AGE-APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES, AND BUDGET/PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT PRACTICES.
THE CURRENT POSITION WILL BE LOCATED AT THE CHILDREN'S CENTER WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Child Development or related field, California Child Development Program Director Permit OR Administrative Services Credential covering grades twelve and below, including preschool, possession of a valid California Driver's license, have an acceptable driving record, and qualify for insurability and, three or more years of successful classroom teaching experience in Early Childhood Education, two years of successful supervisory/administrative experience. PREFERENCES: Master's Degree in Child Development or related field, and Early Childhood Education experience in State or Federal programs.
