Substitute Clerical Pool at Twin Rivers Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
**Substitutes are ‘on-call’ employees serving on a day-to-day basis. **The intent of a substitute is to fill in for an employee who is on a leave of absence. Substitutes are called for assignments through an automated system- SubFinder. Be advised that absences are unpredictable; therefore assignment offers are not guaranteed. BASIC FUNCTION Under direct supervision, provide for the safety and welfare of students during non-classroom activities; communicate observations and incidents which may impact a student’s development and/or the general well-being of other school personnel; provide appropriate emergency care as may be necessary. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, BONDING AND/OR TESTING REQUIRED Current (within 1 year) evidence of the ability to type 40 net wpm is required.

Contingent upon hire, selected candidates must attend a mandatory Substitute Orientation, provide proof of a negative TB reading (no older than 4 years), and pass a criminal background check by the Department of Justice and FBI.
