You will report to the manager of leadership development. You will be responsible for the behavioral management and leadership development of assigned students in compliance with government and management directives.
Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies affecting student behavior management; coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with overall center objectives. Determine and administer disciplinary action for students who have violated rules and regulations. Counsel students when their behavior on and off center is not appropriate. Counsel students regarding their participation in the incentive leadership and leisure learning activities. Coordinate and monitor behavior management and peer court functions and actions. Manage incentive systems, leadership development and leisure learning participation of students on assigned caseloads. Monitor and follow up on student class attendance. Provide supervisor to students consistent with state and local rules and regulations. Maintain timely records and reports including required documentation in CIS. Conduct training on behavior management system for staff and students; prepare and update student disciplinary sections of the student handbook. Prepare significant incident reports for review by manager; ensure adherence to reporting guidelines, time frames and quality of reports
Requirements: Degreed Requirements are bachelor's degree and one year related experience.
Non-Degreed Requirements are high school diploma and five years related experience or AA degree and three years related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
