Fusion Academy is a comprehensive private middle school, and a full service tutoring facility. Some Fusion students exhibit Special Learning Needs such as ADHD, LD, and emotional difficulties.  Other students may be accelerated learners or need flexible scheduling.  All Fusion classes and tutoring are conducted one-to-one. Fusion is a unique academic program offering services year-round on a rolling admissions basis.

Our Walnut Creek campus has an immediate opening for a Part time/Full time Science Teacher. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration, as well as a higher level Science background.  Teaching credentials are a plus but are not mandatory.  Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD is a plus.  Our ideal candidate is an outgoing, well organized individual who is eager to work in a highly dynamic, youthful school setting.

This position provides a one-to-one teaching experience in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  Subject matter knowledge in these areas must be solid; candidate must be prepared to teach and tutor material at a high school level immediately. In addition to subject matter tutoring and teaching, this position includes significant student mentoring.
