The District The Lompoc Unified School District offers an outstanding educational program for its approximately 9,800 students. All crossing guards and noon aides are referred by a site principal. Each School Site Principal is responsible for selecting Noon Duty Aides and/or Crossing Guards for their site. In order to be considered for employment as a Noon Duty Aide and/or Crossing Guard our office must receive an authorization (email) from a school site principal to hire an applicant. It is the applicant's responsibility to contact sites in order to determine if there is a need for Noon Duty Aids and/or Crossing Guards.
