Special Education Teacher AchieveKids is a dynamic, non-profit educational organization with a rich 50-year history of providing non-public schools in San Jose and Palo Alto, California. We serve students with complex emotional and developmental challenges. We focus on the skills and abilities necessary for our students to transition to progressively more independent learning and living environments. DESCRIPTION This is a regular, full-time, exempt, day shift position that reports to the Director of Educational Services. We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers who are interested in small class sizes with excellent paraprofessional support. The Teacher will work collaboratively with staff from other disciplines, but will also retain a high degree of autonomy to provide individualized care to students. We are looking for a positive, high-energy person to create a relevant, academic, and functional program that will help our students transition to a less restrictive environment.
