Seneca Family of Agencies is currently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to contribute to our comprehensive services model by working with youth and families impacted by comorbid autism spectrum disorder and mental health issues.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide direct clinical assessment and oversight for individuals enrolled in Seneca’s Autism Collaborative Services and Treatment (ACTS) program. BCBAs are responsible for the development of behavioral assessments, treatment plans, and regular evaluations. The position requires a high level of collaboration with members of the services team, and includes the supervision of direct service staff to see treatment plan implementation to fruition.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality of home, community and school based instruction to children with comorbid Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Collaborate and bridge communication between all applicable stakeholders and service team members
- Completion of comprehensive functional analyses and assessments
- Writing of behavior support plans in appropriate applied behavior analytic format
- Data analysis and entry
- Completion of progress reports to be shared with key stakeholders including school districts, regional centers and applicable insurance agencies
- Participate in client intake, progress reporting and exit reporting
- Training new hires and existing instructors to carry out behavior interventions
- Travel to provide direct observations and oversight of programs within the Bay Area
- Extensive interfacing with families
- Perform all other duties as necessary for the good of the agency as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education or BCBA related field required
- At least two years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues or trauma
- Extensive experience in completing functional analyses of behaviors including self-abuse, aggression, self-stimulation. Knowledge of presentations of comorbid mental health disorders in youth with ASD
- Extensive experience in implementation of behavior intervention plans using principles of applied behavior analysis
- Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and comorbidity
- Experience supervising others in the implementation of behavioral intervention plans
- Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other State/Federal licensing or certification requirements
- Valid California driver’s license and insurability through Seneca’s automobile insurance policy
Hours:
- Full Time, Monday through Friday
