The Einstein Academy seeks to prepare secondary students for 21st century careers and lives as members of a democratic society and global economy through an interdisciplinary educational experience that is rich in exposure to the following languages: English, Spanish, Latin, Mandarin, Hebrew, and Arabic.
In addition, the academy’s curriculum will provide students with tools to develop their intellectual, artistic, physical, technological, and social competencies, allowing them to graduate with a deep understanding of the relationships among disciplines, and the ability to continuously develop their intellectual integrity and curiosity through a lifelong love of learning.
We're seeking educators who are deeply committed to these same principles, display expertise and passion in their subject areas, and are consistent in their approach to providing rich student-centered learning experiences for a diverse student population.
Requirements / Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in the subject, as evidenced by personal skills and knowledge, an undergraduate major or minor or graduate degree in the subject, or direct subject-area teaching experience; Valid California credential; Demonstrated communication skills; Demonstrated ability and experience to engage students; Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student population, including those with special needs; Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an elementary school setting; Demonstrated ability to work well with parents; Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member; Demonstrated ability to evaluate tests and measurements of achievement; Demonstrated willingness to be held accountable for student results.
