Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required. Santa Monica is looking for candidates with a Clear Elementary Teaching Credential (if preliminary, describe specific plans for completion of Clear Credential requirements) Santa Monica will require evidence of passage of CBEST and CSET or an equivalent test. We are looking for exceptional teachers who are interested in working with a collaborative group of professional educators to increase student achievement and nurture lifelong learners.
The candidate chosen for this position will demonstrate the ability to plan and prepare instruction, maintain a nurturing classroom environment, implement a strong standards based instructional program, and show evidence of continuing to grow as a professional educator.
