NECESSARY MATERIALS FOR APPLICATION
•Completed Ed-Join On-line Application;
•One (1) Current Letter of Recommendation (signed & dated within the last 3 years • electronic signatures are not accepted);
•Copy of Level 4 Certification or higher from a California State approved Interpreter Skills Evaluation Test.
•One (1) year full-time experience using American Sign Language (ASL), preferably working with children. (Verifiable, supervised experience as a volunteer in a school or related organizational activity may be substituted for the work experience on an equal time basis);
•Passage of Level 4 Certification or higher from a California State approved Interpreter Skills Evaluation Test;
•Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalence of a GED or higher.
