Welcome! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

Requirements / Qualifications

1) Resume/letter of introduction. 2) Typing certificate Typing skills of a minimum of 50 words per minute (adjusted). A certificate is considered valid provided the following items are indicated on your typing certificate: 1. Your name. 2. On agency letterhead with signature of tester. 3. Documentation of Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM) minus the # of errors (subtract one word per error from GWPM) equals Net Words Per Minute (NWPM) 4. Date test was administered (must be within the last 6 months)

Please attach certificate of typing proficiency (corrected words per minute) within the last 6 months from a government agency, temporary employment agency, business college, adult school or a public school system. Amador County Unified does not accept typing tests taken from the Internet.
