MeasureED is looking for 2 startup-grade individuals (1 Full time, 1 Part time) in California (1 Northern, 1 Southern) to become regional student data champions. You will be working with schools to wrangle and tell stories with their data through a mix of good training, documentation, process/project management and phone/email support. The right candidate is expected to develop first-name basis relationships with school office managers to train and coach them to become even better champions of their own student data then you already are. You will be expected to deliver outcomes for schools through creativity, intelligence, and occasional brute force. Ideal Candidate Attributes You are ready to change education (We are believe in a higher purpose) You are disciplined (We are a very small, results driven startup) You dream of spreadsheets (We love Excel) You would rather call than email (We talk to our clients often) You build systems of continuous improvement (We teach how to fish, but we don’t fish.) You are flexible (When it rains it pours) And most importantly… You have a story about where you have been (So do we) You have a story about where you are going (We do too) Other ways to stand out (Definitely not required) Previous Experience as a school teacher or administrator, CALPADS, Student Information Systems (PowerSchool, Aeries, Illuminate, etc.), SQL, Data Automation(SQL Server), Attendance Systems, Lunch Systems, Data Visualization(Tableau) and Reporting Tools(SAP).
