Provides an educational program for kindergarten pupils through the development and encouragement of basic skills and attitudes necessary to provide a good foundation for entry into the elementary grade 1 level, in accordance with each pupils' ability; establishes good rapport with pupils and with parents to maximize pupil development and with other staff members to enhance integration of the kindergartener into the total elementary program.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Possess valid Multiple Subject, General, Standard Elementary or other credential authorizing service at the kindergarten level. 2. Appropriate documentation authorizing instruction to English language learners and compliance with NCLB requirements. 3. Two to three years successful classroom experience is preferred.
