Advance Kids is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, energetic, responsible individuals to work and play 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism in the center based environment. Paraprofessional positions are available from 7:30 am to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Training and supervision are provided. 1. Education and/or Experience: Education equivalent to a High School Diploma and a minimum of one year experience working with children, preferably in related field. Enrollment or completion of bachelor degree and knowledge in ABA & RBT certification preferred. 2. Background Checks and/or Licensing: Must be at least 18 years old; criminal background check; reference checks; provide current driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Immunization Records - Proof of immunity or immunization to: - Rubeola/measles, mumps, rubella (2 shots) - Varicella/Chicken Pox (2 shots) - Pertussis/Tdap (5 shots) - Hepetitis B (3 shots) or can sign declination form - TB (1 shot) within past 3 years showing negative Records can usually be found through parents, schools or doctors office. If records are unable to be located, a physician can perform a titer blood test to confirm immunity or provide vaccination. Education Verification: Provide a photocopy of highest level of education (i.e., high school diploma or degree. Transcripts are okay, but not preferred).

Physical Demands: Ability to run, stand, sit stoop, crawl, kneel, reach, push, and lift a child weighing 50 pounds; normal visual, vocal & hearing acuity; use of a computer; ability to travel via automobile. 2. Must have reliable means of transportation and willingness to travel via personal automobile; availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week; and have access to a computer with knowledge of internet, e-mail and Microsoft Office applications.
