Academy of Civic and Entrepreneurial Leadership (ACEL)
This full-time position includes classes in drawing, painting (oils and watercolors) sculpting and more.
Students use laptops instead of textbooks along with any medium to create a positive learning environment.
Class size is under 25.
Field trips and community service projects are encouraged.
Salary depends on experience.
The Academy of Civic and Entrepreneurial Leadership is a free independent public charter high school in downtown Fresno (www.acelfresno.org) authorized under the Fresno Unified School District. The school opened in 2009 and will graduate their second senior class in June. The mission of ACEL includes the development of leadership skills and values, through creative community projects. ACEL uses Project-Based Learning to guide students as they learn core academic subjects, along with communication, collaboration and creative leadership skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic creative art teacher who will collaborate with the Project Coordinator, other ACEL teachers and several community partners in sustainability projects in Fresno.
