Students do not dress out for PE.
Students use aerobic exercise, whole class games, walking, proper eating habits.
Class size is under 25.
Field trips and community service projects are encouraged.
Salary depends on experience.

The Academy of Civic and Entrepreneurial Leadership is a free independent public charter high school in downtown Fresno (www.acelfresno.org) authorized under the Fresno Unified School District. The school opened in 2009 and will graduated 100% of its second senior class in June. The mission of ACEL includes the development of leadership skills and values, through creative community projects. ACEL uses Project-Based Learning to guide students as they learn core academic subjects, along with communication, collaboration and creative leadership skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic creative PE teacher who will collaborate with the Project Coordinator, other ACEL teachers and several community partners in sustainability projects in Fresno.
Requirements / Qualifications
Teaching credential required or evidence of enrollment in a teacher internship program. Two letters of recommendation, resume, and cover letter.
