Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School is a diocesan secondary school serving 385 students, located in San Luis Obispo, CA. Founded in 1926, the school currently enjoys thriving programs and a highly regarded academic reputation, largely resulting from a qualified and experienced faculty, a supportive parent community, and motivated students – all who work in partnership within our distinctive culture of care and accountability.
MCP seeks an Athletic Director to lead the athletic department to unparalleled success. MCP desires a candidate whose approach to the position is primarily about nurturing the growth and development of each varsity athletic program. A commitment to the support and improvement of coaches, and providing for their continual growth and development is crucial. Mission’s program has increasing and noteworthy momentum, and includes 14 varsity sports, 57 coaches, and 265 student-athletes. Joining the PAC-7 athletic league in 2014-15, challenges us to compete in league play against schools that have an average of 1500 more students than we do. This presents us with unique opportunities and an imperative to improve.
