Mupu School District is seeking a 3rd/4th grade teacher to teach in a small school setting. A portion of the day is spent with third graders for Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies instruction. The remaining part of the day is a combined 3rd/4th grade classroom that focuses on Technology, Fine Arts, and Physical Education. The job requires working closely and collaboratively with the 4th/5th grade teacher. Bilingual (Spanish) skills appreciated. Requirements: collaboration skills; content knowledge; experience working with English Learners; ability to work with varied levels of learners; compassionate and understanding; organized; classroom management skills; strong positive communication skills with parents, scholars, and staff; technology skills a must.

1. Bachelor's degree 2. Multiple Subject Credential with BCLAD or BCLAD certificate that is in compliance with the provisions of Title 5, Administrative Code, Sections 80002-80127 and California Education Code, Sections 44000-44665. 3. Possess the following personal qualities: a. ability to meet district standards for physical and mental health b. Evidence of good moral character c. Satisfactory recommendations from supervisors or other professionals who have observed the candidate's personal characteristics, scholastic achievement and job-related performance.
