REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
. Permanent status in LUSD
. California Teaching Credential, Multiple or Single Subject.
. Must meet ESEA Highly Qualified teacher requirements
. Three years of successful teaching experience demonstrating site instructional leadership roles.
. Appropriate certification to teach English Language
Learners (CLAD, BCLAD, SB1969 certificate, BCC or LDS certificate).
. Bilingual, biliterate in English and Spanish
. Experience in collaborative planning and delivery of differentiated professional development to classroom practitioners.
. Proven ability to work effectively with staff members to develop a Professional Learning Community.
. Knowledge of and success in utilizing and promoting differentiated instructional techniques that result in improved student learning, and closing the achievement gap.
. Strong oral and written communication skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
. Extensive evidence of recent participation in the Advance Placement Incentive grant.
