Job description:

You will teach two elementary German immersion classes in all elementary subjects (math, science and social studies) as well as German language arts. Our school philosophy follows the guidelines of the International Baccalaureate Program -Primary Years Program (www.IBO.org) in combination with Common Core Standards.  If you are not an IB-trained teacher you will be required to participate in IB training during your first year. For German language arts, AEACS developed an in-house German language curriculum, considering  the European Framework for Languages and Common Core Standards. In 5th grade our German immersion students participate in the German Language Diploma A2 exam.
