Celebrating 22 years as a K-8 Public Waldorf School and CMO (Charter Management Organization), Golden Valley Charter School is seeking a servant leader Principal for our River School . This campus supports just under 300 students in Kindergarten through 8th grade during the 2021-2022 school year. Located in Orangevale, CA east of Sacramento, our schools are nestled in tree-lined neighborhoods just across the river from old town Folsom and the American River Bike Trail and within close proximity to Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks. The success of our school is built upon the foundation of our dynamic yet harmonious faculty and a highly involved and committed parent body. We are seeking a leader with strong character and a deep understanding of Waldorf pedagogy and the Charter School movement. S/he will inspire creative, collaboration between teachers, staff and parents and keep our Vision & Mission at the forefront of all decision-making. Candidates must also hold an Administrative credential or equivalent education and teaching experience required. Knowledge of Waldorf Education is Mandatory. Skills in team facilitation and problem solving and well developed interpersonal skills are crucial. School administration background is desirable.
