Job Description / Essential Elements:    Print   
Long term, short term, and day-to-day substitutes needed to fill in a variety of high school positions: math, science, social studies, English, computers, career exploration, driver education. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required. Students are high school dropouts age 18 and older enrolled in the San Jose Conservation Corps Charter School and who either participate in the job-training and diploma program or in the full time Academy high school program. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Academy Program is located at 1534 Berger Drive, San Jose, Ca 95112, just off HWY 101, 880 and Old Oakland Road. The Job-Training and Diploma Program is located at 2650 Senter Road, San Jose, CA 95111 between Tully and the Capitol Expressway. Excellent classroom management skills are a must.
