Are you a highly skilled, engaging, energetic educator with an advanced degree and a passion for tutoring? Academic Achievers LLC, a premier tutoring agency based in Santa Monica, is searching for TEST PREP SPECIALISTS, TEACHERS & TUTORS! (see: http://academic-achievers.com) We are especially looking for: *Experienced SAT, ACT & ISEE tutors *CREATIVE, KNOWLEDGABLE, KIND, GENTLE and FUN teachers who LOVE to work with children! *Teachers who LOVE TO TEACH! All of our tutors are independent contractors. We have one of the highest starting rates in the industry. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you! Requirements for Test Prep Tutors (ISEE, SAT, ACT, PSAT) ~Teaching Credentials (any state, preferably CA) and/or a Master’s degree ~Training and experience as a Test Prep Tutor (at least 2 years, preferably 3+) General Qualifications: ~Master's degree (or other advanced degree) and/or State Teaching Credential ~Significant teaching and/or tutoring experience ~Advanced knowledge in implementing plans to respond to academic-related issues ~Outstanding on site and remote management skills ~Comprehensive knowledge of standardized entrance exams ~Excellent problem solving, decision-making, listening and creative thinking abilities ~Ability to establish rapport with students and parents as well as a desire to connect with the student in order to facilitate the most successful working environment ~All applicants must be client service oriented as well as reliable, timely, responsible, courteous, and polished ~All applicants must be able to commit to tutoring for the entire 2013 academic school year AND have a flexible schedule Monday – Sundays
