AFS USA offers international students from our partner offices around the world a program called "English & Culture" in San Diego, CA. ESL teachers work 15 hours per week, 9-12 am, Monday to Friday.
Each class consists of approx. 15 students, grouped by language level. And each week of the 6 week program has a theme around which curriculum is developed: The Environment, The Arts, Contemporary Issues, and Popular Culture.
Students will have just graduated from high school in Buenos Aires, Argentina and have been nominated and won this program as a result of scoring well on their graduation exams.
The winter program runs from Jan. 26 to March 8th; and the summer 2014 program runs from July 20 - August 16.
