The schedule for this position is 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Skills to use cleaning agents/chemicals and equipment; communicate effectively, establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, students, parents, and school administrators; perform basic reading and math required for safe/ accurate use of cleaning agents/chemicals, perform multiple tasks of non-technical nature. Knowledge of methods and use of cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies; safe work practices. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, follow oral and written instructions, writing skills to keep work records and reports, use basic math to estimate time and materials, adhere to safe work practices, work independently with minimal supervision, perform a variety of tasks, adjust to flexible assignments often with short notice, make decisions and improvise as required to meet demand of heavy evening facility usage, and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Significant physical abilities include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping, reaching/handling, near/far visual acuity/depth perception. A valid Driver's License is required. Upon hire, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, Health Physical Examination, and Tuberculosis Testing/Clearance will be required.
