The Director of Resident Student Life is charged with planning and implementing policy that fulfills the academic, social and spiritual components of the School’s mission and philosophy. These policies strive to create a safe, positive and productive Christian living and learning environment that encourages students to become responsible neighbors and independent learners. The Director is expected to be a strong role model who demonstrates confident, steady leadership, a high degree of organization, the ability to manage adults under demanding circumstances, and the skills of a parent, counselor, and mentor. The Director of Resident Student Life is a 12 month position. Job Goal: The Director of Resident Student Life provides the academic, organizational, disciplinary and personal support in the dormitories to ensure the greatest academic and social benefit to each student. He/she also strives to provide a positive and productive living environment within the dormitory, creating opportunities to build dorm unity and fostering students’ independence.
