Requirements for Applying

Bachelor Degree; Experience working with alternative education/at risk youth is preferred. (Valid CA Credential or 30 day sub permit and CBEST. If applicable at the time of hire a copy of CBEST results will be required.

Please ensure that you have received this email, it will contain information on the next steps of the selection process. **Candidates selected as a Substitute Teacher will be provided an opportunity to also provide services as a Substitute Paraeducator ($11.97/hour). A separate application will not be required. *** Candidates selected as a Substitute Teacher will be provided an opportunity to also provide sub services to our special education program. Substitutes working in Special Education require a pre-placement medical assessment paid for by substitute employee and FCOE. ($55 is the substitute portion of the total cost).

  • Letter(s) of Reference (Required: Three (3) Letters of Reference. It is recommended that letters of references be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position.)
