Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Master’s or doctorate degree in educational administration or curriculum Valid Texas Principal/Mid-Management Certificate Certified instructional appraiser in PDAS Thorough knowledge of systems planning and improvement Knowledge and experience in program planning, management and evaluation models Experience in planning and delivery of quality professional development Ability to write in a variety of formats and to conduct program evaluations using statistical methods and tools to ensure continuous improvement Ability to manage a budget and personnel Ability to interpret data Ability to coordinate district function Good communication and interpersonal skills Minimum of five years experience as a public school administrator

Ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in the areas of Curriculum and Instruction. Capacity to gain Texas certification is a requirement of employment. Evidence of current Education Administrative certification in home state of employment is expected.

Direct and lead capacity building for campus administrators and potential administrators. Provide leadership and curriculum development for the district leadership preparatory program.
