Looking for a successful candidate to teach three Drama classes for grades 9-12. The classes are Drama and Advanced Drama and cover all aspects of the dramatic arts, including pantomime, theater games, Reader’s Theater, acting, stage design, set construction, make-up, and business operation. The after school drama program includes a minimum of two productions a year and overseeing set construction, and all other duties required for successful dramatic production. Candidates should possess an single subject credential (a degree in Theater Arts/Drama is preferred), have experience working with a diverse student population and a willingness to collaborate with members of the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Napa High School. Napa High School encourages all teachers to become involved in the school community, i.e., extra-curricular activity or club. Candidate must have valid English designated subject matter credential. Candidate must be CLAD certified or be eligible for a CLAD permit.
