Summer Teaching Opportunity (San Gabriel Valley)
As a leading educational institute in the San Gabriel Valley for 30 years, we are seeking innovative, dedicated and qualified instructors to join our faculty at the locations of Alhambra, Arcadia, Temple City and San Marino.
24 to 30 hrs per week are possibly available for strong candidates for the current term. Hired teachers must sign a contract to commit to the positions. Possible long-term teaching positions are available during school year afternoons too. Starting salary is competitive with other companies.
Open Positions:
- English teachers in high school, middle school and elementary level
- Math teachers in Alg II, Geometry, Algebra I, Pre-Algebra and elementary level
- AP tests prep in Bio, Chem, and Physics
Position Requirements:
- Applicant must be hard-working and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge and sound understanding of the curriculum who is dedicated to help their students reach their full academic potential.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is necessary, Masters’ Degree preferred. A teaching credential with prior teaching experience is a plus!
- Summer semester program starts in mid- June and ends in late August. Working hours are Mondays to Fridays am or/ and pm. Possible Saturday teaching position might be available too. Teaching hours depend on subject proficiency and teaching experience. Applicants must be willing to commit to the complete semester.
- Employees must have a reliable source of transportation.
