Napa Valley Unified School District has 1.00 FTE (.60 permanent and .40 temporary) opening for a Mathematics Teacher at Redwood Middle School. Candidates must be credentialed in Math and experienced or able to differentiate teaching techniques to ensure student learning in the tutorial classes. Candidate must be committed to attending training regarding Problem Based Learning and use of technology in a one to one computing environment. This position includes working in teams doing project based education. Candidate must be familiar with or willing to learn how to analyze student performance data to improve instruction both within and outside the Pacent Math Process. Candidate must also be willing to collaborate with peers on common assessments and sharing and learning best practices. Candidates must hold an English Learner Authorization (ELA) or be eligible for an Emergency ELA permit while working on earning an ELA.
