Specific Responsibilities:
1.Maintains and coordinates all data and records of school-site information systems (ie. Blackbaud products, Aeries, Naviance, Active/Thriva, FACTS, ConnectEd, Edlio, Caspio); updates individual information as necessary and regularly distributes updates to various departments.
2.Coordinates individual database activities (e.g. security, upgrades, populating, refreshing, repairing database systems, cataloging, access
3.Communicates regularly with program directors to ensure database accuracy, integrity, and security.
4.Programs master schedule as directed by the Principal; enters data into system to begin schedule and updates year round.
5.Works in conjunction with IT Manager to
a.Help maintain technology equipment via software updates, firmware updates, software patches, and other maintenance needs as it relates to individual information systems.
b.Maintains the flow of information from one information system to the other and provides various reports and lists
c.Works with the Registrar, Attendance, Advancement, and Business offices to coordinate data input and maintenance of student and other constituent records.
d.Evaluates new tools and technologies to maximize storage, archiving, and backup and recovery software and systems; recommend solutions as needed.
e.Ensures that all software systems and programs communicate effectively and are correctly archived and backed up, with proper recovery procedures in place and functioning correctly at all times.
6.Accurately enters data from source documents. In addition, the employee should have the capacity to effectively generate, analyze, and report data.
7.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.
