Requirements for Applying

A California Administrative Credential. A Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, and/or Curriculum or a related field is preferred or in progress with completion within two years. At least three years of successful teaching, counseling or administrative experience and demonstrated instructional leadership.

Must possess a knowledge of sound instructional practice; ability to effectively supervise, formally observe and evaluate teachers; ability to successfully supervise curricular offerings and instructional departments; ability to use technology tools to support maximized student learning and efficient completion of administrative duties; ability to successfully manage student behavior and attendance while working collaboratively with teachers and parents; ability to supervise and evaluate classified support personnel; ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff in order to create a caring learning environment.
