Candidates must hold a valid California School Nurse Credential or hold a Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs and possess a Bachelor's Degree. Two years of experience as a school nurse preferred. A valid School Audiometrist Certificate is required. A team player, detail-oriented, flexible, consistent and reliable, able to work under only minimal supervision and willing to work with multiple staff across partnering agencies. Must have demonstrated ability to work effectively with professional and paraprofessional personnel in carrying out an effective instructional or remediation program. Willingness to travel as required by the geographic location of clients. Knowledge of California Education Code, California Code of Regulations, and Office of Education schools policies, rules, and regulations regarding programs and pupils.
