As a leading educational institute in the San Gabriel Valley for 25 years, an established private educational institute dedicated to the advancement of today's youths seeks High School SAT Verbal/Grammar instructors to join our staff of lively and engaging instructors who are dedicated to helping their students reach their full academic potential.

Candidate should be able to commit to a set schedule of 10 weeks from June 10, 2013 - August 17, 2013 for the Rowland Heights campus, or 9 weeks from June 3, 2013 - August 2, 2013 for the Hacienda Heights campus. Selected candidates will receive comprehensive training, materials, and continued support from the regional director. These positions have potential long-term career possibilities. Starting salary is competitive with other companies.

Position Requirements:

 1. Candidate must be hard-working and an enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent SAT/ PSAT test prep knowledge with sound understanding of the curriculum. Teacher will be instructing in a small classroom setting. 

 2. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s or Ph.D Degree is preferred with at least 6 months of independent classroom experience in teaching vocabulary, and grammar. Applicants that are credentialed or BCLAD certified is a plus.

 3. Employees must have reliable transportation. 

Instruction Schedule:

  1. The Summer Semester program is a set schedule of 10 weeks from June 10, 2013 - August 17, 2013 for the Rowland Heights campus, or 9 weeks from June 3, 2013 - August 2, 2013 for the Hacienda Heights campus. 

2. Teaching hours can range from 10-24 hours per week, varying schedules throughout the week depending on subject proficiency and teaching experience.

  3. Available Campus Locations: Hacienda Heights/Rowland Heights
