Requirements for Applying

2013/2014 Instructional Coach, English Learner Services EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and minimum of three years classroom teaching experience at the appropriate level. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Valid California teaching credential authorizing instruction at the appropriate level. BASIC FUNCTION Provide leadership, expertise and support at the school site level for the full implementation instructional area standards, assessment and accountability in grades K-12. Works under the direction of the site principal/administrator and does not supervise any staff. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES This is a temperary position which will end June 13, 2013. This position requires someone who has EL experience with Dual Immersion understanding and a special education background; this instructional coach will support teacher of Pre K students and 3 elementary school: Leavenworth, Sunset, and Ewing.
